Standard piece of equipment. I had heard that this thing wasn't "accurate" with what is actually going on on the inside. However, I'm not so sure. I had an HVAC guy at my place who happened to have one of those temp guns - you know, the ones with predator vision? - and I pointed it at the fermenter and the adhesive strip thermometer was DEAD ON with the reading from the gun. So, I'm happy with this thing!

Nicely priced and easy to read. I attached it to my plastic fermenter so I can monitor temps while fermenting.
